Job description

Competencies
We are not obsessed about years of experience, we look for something deeper. The main thing is business acumen coupled with technical aptitude, especially around automation and AI. You probably know how to read a P&L statement and have programmed "hello world". You get that this role is all about creating tangible business value, not getting lost in technical details. In short, you are someone who translates business requirements into results. People are always sending things your way because you just seem to get it.
Self-starter: you enjoy learning, you're curious, you like a fast pace, you jump onto business and technical calls, quickly understand people's objectives, then figure out an efficient technical implementation
Technical knowledge meets business acumen: you know your way around APIs, webhooks, data migrations, customer objectives, and deadlines. Salesforce Admin knowledge is a plus
Problem solver: you're structured, you like logical challenges, and also know when you're heading down a rabbit hole
Trajectory
We are one of the most versatile teams at Planhat. We work with clients across different industries and team up with colleagues across sales and product. We work alongside our customers at every stage of the client lifecycle. Imagine:
Working with sales to build a POC for the C-suite at an EduTech company, teasing the most insightful metrics dashboard they've ever seen
Helping a FinTech startup struggling with data across many systems sync their data seamlessly into Planhat
Taking a PropTech company's key processes from spreadsheets and forms into Planhat, not only designing automation steps but also flagging churn risk and identifying growth opportunities
Our backgrounds are eclectic, including sales engineering, solutions architects, customer support, customer success, management consulting, and project management. Some of us had a technical background before joining, and experience with tools like Salesforce, Hubspot, Zapier, or Data Warehouses such as Snowflake and BigQuery. Many of us transitioned from commercial roles, wanting to get deeper into products, and are self-taught technically.
Definition of Success
You are measured by the business impact you create for Planhat's largest and most complex enterprise customers.
You are consistently delivering technically sophisticated solutions that create measurable business value for enterprise customers
You are seen as the go-to technical expert by both customers and internal teams, trusted to take on the hardest and most complex deployments
You are continuously expanding your technical and commercial skill set, pushing the boundaries of what Planhat can deliver for customers
You are actively contributing to the playbook and frameworks that raise the standard for the entire Technical Deployment team
You are growing into broader leadership responsibilities, mentoring junior team members and shaping how the team operates
Compensation
The OTE (base + variable) salary range for this position is $90,000 - $160,000 per year. Please note that actual salaries will vary based on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. Please also note the range listed is just one component of the company's total rewards package for exempt employees. Other rewards may include performance bonuses, long term incentives, a generous PTO policy, and other benefits.
