Job Description:
Role Summary:
The Technical Project Manager (Integrations) is responsible for the successful delivery of business and clinical application projects, with a strong emphasis on healthcare system integrations. This role leads the planning, execution, and coordination of projects involving HL7 interfaces (ADT, ORM, ORU), API-based integrations, and interface engine implementations.
The individual will partner with clinical, technical, and vendor teams to design, implement, test, and deploy interoperable solutions across EHRs, imaging platforms, and ancillary systems. This role ensures projects are delivered on time, within scope and budget, while maintaining high standards for quality, patient safety, and system reliability
Responsibilities:

  • Lead the planning, execution, control, and successful delivery of assigned projects using established project management methodologies, tools, and PMO (Project Management Office) standards with cross functional teams.
  • Define, document, and maintain project scope in partnership with stakeholders and product/functional owners.
  • Facilitate requirements gathering and solution development with stakeholders and subject matter experts.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, work breakdown structures, schedules, and work plans; track progress and adjust as needed.
  • Manage project resources, budgets, risks, issues, and dependencies; proactively identify and resolve or escalate concerns.
  • Establish and execute communication plans; provide clear, timely updates to leadership, stakeholders, vendors, and project teams.
  • Lead vendor selection (RFP/RFQ), manage vendor relationships, and ensure compliance with SOWs, scope, and SLAs.
  • Build consensus, manage stakeholder expectations, and effectively navigate organizational dynamics.
  • Translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences and provide concise, high-level summaries for leadership.
  • Create and maintain project documentation, including charters, scope documents, schedules, status reports, and change requests.
  • Promote a collaborative, solution-oriented environment while maintaining focus on quality, risk mitigation, patient safety, and client satisfaction.
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned to help drive our mission of improving the lives of everyone living with cancer.
Required or Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in health care, IT, or business-related field highly preferred.
  • 5+ years project management experience.
  • PMP certification desired.
  • Experience with healthcare integrations and interoperability standards, including HL7 v2.x (ADT, ORM, ORU), FHIR, and APIs
  • Experience working with interface engines (e.g., Mirth)
  • Familiarity with clinical workflows and systems (EHRs, PACS, RIS, LIS, practice management systems)
  • Experience coordinating integration testing and go-live support for clinical systems
  • Ability to work effectively with interface engineers, developers, and technical architects
  • Training or experience in Microsoft Project, Word, Excel & Visio, or other project. management and productivity tools like SmartSheets, Monday.com, SharePoint, and Teams.
  • Experience with complete software development life cycle and project deployments in a large matrix organization.
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies such as (PMBOK, Agile, Scrum, Lean Six Sigma, Kanban).
  • Excellent organizational, written, and oral communication skills.
  • Must have the ability & willingness to travel to other sites as necessary within a geographic region.
