Best-One Tire & Service in Riley Park is looking for an Alignment Technician who wants to work in an automotive repair shop, looking for dependable, motivated technician with experience, must take pride in quality and be able to work efficiently and independently if this is you, we want to talk to you!

What You'll Do as an Alignment Technician:

  • Create raving fans with exceptional customer service
  • Diagnose and repair to specifications on passenger, light trucks - may include brake & hydraulic, suspension and alignment
  • Minimize customer complaints through the provision of thorough yet time-effective repair services
  • Able to work independently of others, while also assisting collaboratively with peers
  • Ensure that shop equipment is maintained in top working condition, and adheres to shop safety and environmental practices
  • Adequately explain technical diagnoses, needed services and repairs to employees and customers on an as-required basis in a courteous and friendly manner
  • Continuously learn new technical information and techniques in formal training sessions in order to stay abreast with rapidly changing technology
  • Keep store management aware of mechanical repair problems as they occur
  • Maintain organized and neat bay area
  • Operate equipment and customer vehicles safely and responsibly
  • Maintain strong communication between store teammates and all support departments
  • Be familiar with, adhere to, and enforce company policies and procedures
  • Adhere to legal guidelines, including such things as OSHA requirements
  • Step up to additional responsibilities when needed

What We're Looking For:

  • At least 18 years of age
  • Valid driver's license required
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 2-year experience with vehicle repairs
  • Positive attitude and the ability to relate well with other team members and customers
  • Experience in light truck & maintenance, oil changes and minor auto repair, etc.
  • Ability to perform all job functions that require lifting and or carrying single items weighing at least 50 lbs., as well as functions and activities such as pulling, pushing, bending, standing, lifting, reaching, and stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling
