Job Summary:
Zymo Research is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Account Manager with a strong internal sales and technical support focus. This role manages client relationships, drives sales growth, resolves technical inquiries, and collaborates across teams to ensure customer success.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Technical Support:
- Serve as a primary contact for technical inquiries, providing timely and accurate support.
- Troubleshoot product performance issues and coordinate with R&D, QC, and Product teams and onboard new customers.
- Maintain effective follow-up and potential resolutions regarding end-user issues.
- Guide customers through workflows, protocol optimization, and best practices.
- Cultivate good relationships with customers and key accounts to increase their knowledge in utilizing Zymo Research products.
- Document technical cases and identify recurring issues.
- Collaborate with product and quality teams to communicate customer feedback.
- Assist in creating and refining technical documentation and knowledge base resources such as user guides, technical notes, and other marketing and training collaterals.
- Support cross-functional teams with scientific and product expertise.
- Provide customer insight feedback and participate as a consultant to internal teams for future product enhancement or new product development.
Account Management:
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships and identify growth opportunities.
- Collaborate on sales strategies to increase market penetration.
- Generate new leads through research, networking, and inbound inquiries.
- Conduct product demos and presentations.
- Negotiate terms and close deals aligned with company goals.
- Track performance using CRM systems and analyze trends.
- Provide regular updates to senior management.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences or related field is required. At least 1 year of lab experience is preferred.
- Experience in account management or sales, preferably in life sciences or biotech.
- Strong knowledge of biotechnology products and workflows.

- Strong analytical skills; ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Compensation, Benefits, and Perks:
The estimated base compensation range for this position is $70,000 - $85,000. Includes uncapped quarterly commissions and annual bonus potential, totaling $70,000 - $120,000+ at the time of posting. Actual compensation details will be provided in writing at the time of offer, if applicable, and is based on several factors we believe fairly and accurately impact compensation, including geographic location, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and other job permitted factors.
