Position Summary

The Senior Manager / Director, Business Technology, Sales & Partners leads the technology strategy, delivery, and operations for the Sales and Partner business domains. This role partners closely with Sales Leadership, Sales Operations, Customer Experience and Partner Operations to deliver scalable business capabilities while ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture, security, and governance standards. As the leader of the Sales Partners and Customer Experience Systems Pod, this individual is responsible for the technology roadmap, platform health, delivery execution, and team leadership across Salesforce CRM, CPQ, Service Cloud, Partner Portal, Customer Experience, and related GTM systems. The role translates approved business priorities into secure, scalable technology solutions that improve seller productivity and accelerate revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Business Partnership & Strategy: Serve as the primary Business Technology leader for Sales and Partner organizations. Partner with Sales, Revenue Operations, and Partner stakeholders to develop technology roadmaps aligned to business priorities. Provide technology guidance, solution options, effort estimates, and delivery tradeoffs to support business decision making.
  • Project Delivery & Platform Ownership: Own the delivery roadmap and execution for Sales technology platforms including Salesforce CRM, CPQ, Service Cloud, Partner Portal, and related integrations. Lead prioritization, release planning, capacity management, and delivery across the Sales Systems portfolio. Ensure platform scalability, security, performance, and operational excellence while reducing technical debt.
  • Sales, Partners & CX Systems POD Leadership: Lead a crossโ€‘functional team of Product Managers, Business Systems Analysts, Developers, Administrators, and QA resources. Develop team capability, establish clear ownership, and foster a highโ€‘performing, customerโ€‘focused culture. Manage resource planning, budgets, vendor relationships, and delivery performance.
  • Architecture & Governance: Ensure solutions align with enterprise architecture, security, integration, and data governance standards. Oversee solution design, release governance, platform lifecycle management, and continuous improvement. Partner with Enterprise Architecture, Security, Integration, and Infrastructure teams to deliver reliable, scalable solutions.
  • Operational Excellence: Drive platform reliability through effective incident, problem, and change management. Monitor platform health, user adoption, service levels, and business outcomes using defined KPIs. Champion automation, standardization, and continuous process improvement.
Qualifications
  • Required: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience leading Enterprise Business Applications or Business Technology teams.
  • 5+ years of experience managing Salesforce-based platforms and enterprise CRM solutions.
  • Experience leading crossโ€‘functional delivery teams in Agile environments.
  • Strong knowledge of Sales, CRM, CPQ, Partner Management, Customer Experience and Quoteโ€‘toโ€‘Cash processes.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Preferred: MBA or Master's degree.
  • Preferred: Salesforce certifications.
  • Experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud, CPQ, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud/Partner Portal, and AI capabilities such as Salesforce Agentforce.
Compensation

Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as your relevant work experience, education, certifications, skills, and geographic location. The salary range for this role in the United States is $154,000 - $204,000. Employees may also be eligible for a wide range of other benefits, such as a bonus or commission, medical, retirement, financial, wellness, time off, employee discounts, and others.
