Job Description
We're looking for an IT Manager (Platforms) to work closely with technical peers, internal business contacts and external clients to develop, design and continuously improve ERP backbone to successful business. This will take a solid understanding of SAP, strong understanding of solutions and configuration options, understanding integration points and knowledge of our business processes. The position requires strong communication and organizational skills as well as a follow-through mentality.
The IT Manager, Platforms is responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Implementing new customer projects and change requests for Arvato with direct interaction with internal stakeholders, and external clients.
  • Manage implementation lifecycle across platforms applications including the gathering of requirements, process analysis, designing, implementing solutions, deployment, and documenting, training and supporting users.
  • Primary point of contact with business, operations and client to drive optimization, productivity and meet business needs.
  • Experienced in working on end-to-end SCM processes
  • Deep understanding of complex 3PL IT landscape and integration with clients
  • Part of global IT team responsible for process alignment for all regions for clients
  • Supervisory and people management for Platforms team within US
  • Responsible for estimates, budget and IT costs for area of responsibility

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or closely related field preferred; equivalent experience will be considered
  • 5+ years of support/implementation experience required
  • 3+ years of experience managing integration to SAP
  • 1+ years experience with people management or leadership role
  • SAP R/3 experience required, with some S/4 Hana experience preferred
  • RF Gun/Mobisys (mobile application), IDoc's (EDI), QM is a plus
  • ITIL certification preferred
  • Proactively identify problematic issues (data or process) and work with the necessary individual(s) to resolve such issues
  • Work with business users to gather more details on new IT Systems issues, categorize the issues accurately to help address them in a timely manner
  • Intellectual curiosity, problem solving and detail oriented
  • Provide high quality support in all areas of the operation
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
  • Very good communication skills and follow-through ability
  • Work independently in an international environment
  • Strong relationship management and collaboration skills
