TeamLogic IT of Louisville provides managed IT services to small businesses across the Louisville metro. Our clients run 6 to 60 employees. They depend on us to keep email flowing, endpoints patched, and problems fixed the first time.
We are hiring a part-time Level 1 technician. This is a working role, not a shadowing role. You will own tickets from intake to resolution and escalate when the problem is beyond you.
What you'll do
- Work helpdesk tickets: password resets, printer issues, software installs, connectivity problems
- Administer Microsoft 365: user onboarding and offboarding, license changes, mailbox permissions
- Troubleshoot Windows desktops and laptops, remotely and occasionally on site at client offices
- Keep documentation current in our PSA. If it isn't documented, it didn't happen
- Assist with patching, backup verification, and routine maintenance
What you need
- Solid Windows fundamentals and working familiarity with Microsoft 365
- Clear written and verbal communication. Our clients are office managers and business owners, not IT people
- Reliable transportation for occasional client site visits in the Louisville area
- Ability to pass a background check
Nice to have
- CompTIA A+ or equivalent coursework
- Exposure to RMM or PSA tools
- Basic DNS and email deliverability knowledge (SPF, DKIM, DMARC)
