Position Summary

The Clinical Procedure Region Manager is responsible for leading a team of sales professionals focused on growing B. Braun's Clinical Procedures business within an assigned region. This role is accountable for driving sales growth, achieving regional business objectives, and supporting customer relationships across B. Braun's Clinical Procedures portfolio, including Regional Anesthesia, Pain Management, Epidural Trays, Spinal Needles, and related products.

Ideal candidate will reside within the region and preferably be located in or near Boston MA, Hartford CT, New Haven CT, Paramus NJ, Hackensack NJ.

Responsibilities: Essential Duties
  • Promotes sales of Clinical Procedure products, including Peripheral IV Access, Pain Control, IV Anesthesia Sets, Regional Anesthesia, Epidural Trays, and Spinal Needles, while maintaining existing customer relationships and developing new business opportunities.
  • Maintains and grows B. Braun's business by leading, motivating, and maximizing the performance of a team of five sales professionals within an assigned region.
  • Responsible for achieving the region's sales plan and business objectives.
  • Responsible for annual budget planning and forecasting for the region.
  • Supervises and supports all sales activities of direct reports, providing coaching, direction, and development consistent with company goals and objectives.
  • Builds strong relationships with healthcare providers, hospital stakeholders, and key decision-makers to support business growth.
  • Responsible for personnel actions including recruiting, hiring, training, performance management, and employee development.

  • Strong knowledge of medical device sales and the hospital sales environment.
  • Understanding of Regional Anesthesia, Pain Management, Vascular Access, or related procedural products.

  • Strong customer relationship and account management skills.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, coaching, and negotiation abilities.
  • Ability to analyze business performance and develop effective sales strategies.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications.

Expertise: Qualifications -Education/Experience/Training/Etc Required
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 4 years of medical device sales experience with a documented track record of achieving sales goals.
  • Experience selling into hospitals, surgery centers, or other acute care settings.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel frequently throughout the assigned region.
  • Regular and predictable attendance.
Preferred
  • Experience selling products in the Regional Anesthesia, Pain Management, Epidural, Spinal, Vascular Access, Infusion Therapy, or Operating Room market.
  • At least 1 year of people management, sales leadership, or field coaching experience.
  • Experience leading and developing high-performing field sales teams.

Many of our customers and potential customers are in clinical settings, including but not limited to hospitals, clinics, and other health care clinics (hereinafter, Healthcare Customers). Many of our Healthcare Customers require outside vendors like us to present proof that they have certain requisite vaccinations and immunizations, including but not limited to vaccinations against COVID-19 and seasonal influenza, before being granted entry into the Healthcare Customers’ clinical settings.
