Job description

HIRING A NEEDLE BOARD TECHNICIAN AT OUR NORTH MONMOUTH LOCATION WHO WANT TO BE PART OF A GROWING AND EVOLVING LEADING GLOBAL MANUFACTURER OF HIGH-PERFORMANCE TEXTILES. OUR PRODUCTS ARE USED IN AIRCRAFT, AUTOMOTIVE, FILTRATION, PROTECTIVE APPAREL, DEFENSE AND SPACE APPLICATIONS.

The positions require frequent standing and walking for up to 10 hours a day, frequent lifting, twisting, kneeling and bending. Frequent lifting of 10 to 75 lbs (with some assistance). Must have fine motor skills and manual dexterity along with good vision and be able to distinguish color variations.

The Needle Board Tech is responsible for making sure the needle boards are in proper repair and working order. Regular maintenance of the needle boards requires the removal of all broken needles. Will record all information needed on appropriate paperwork and/or computer. The position will also train as a loom operator as a secondary skill.

Rate of pay for a Needle Board Tech is $20.00. This is a first shift position M-F 6a to 2p
