The Double Needle Sewing position is located in Claremont, NC.
You'll be excited about this opportunity because you will....
  • Read and understand production tickets and be able to interpret simple sewing instructions commonly placed in a sewing manual.
  • Sew Flat in upholstery.
  • Ability to double needle sew, top stitch, and serge, cushion, flat, slipcover, borders, and zippers.
  • Making sure the sewing is straight and in alignment with cover pattern with no dropped stitches.

  • At least 3 years of experience in fabric sewing for upper end upholstered furniture.
  • Experience in production of upper-end upholstery fabric sewing in an upholstered furniture manufacturing environment.
  • Work in a manufacturing and fast-paced environment.

We prefer some of these qualities as well...
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Good communication skills-oral and written.
  • Ability to keep accurate records.
  • Ability to follow documented procedures and standards.

  • Ability to frequently lift bundles of approximately 50-60 lbs.
