Job description

Physical Therapy Assistant opportunity with an Orthopedic Group in the Sarasota/Bradenton area of Florida.  Bonus potential.  Office focus. Flexible hours each week with no weekends

About the Physical Therapy Assistant opportunity

  • Orthopedic recovery - Spine, foot/ankle, hip, knee, and shoulder
  • Each team has PT, PTA and Athletic Trainer
  • Great Gym and Therapy space- open 7am-7pm
  • Manual Therapy focus with all modalities used with dry needling and massage
  • 70-75 patients on schedule a week but typical week is 55-65 patients seen (always some no shows and cancelations)
  • Hourly base rate is $27-36/hour depending on experience
  • Bonus based on Productivity ranges up to $5,000 annual
  • Option for 5- 8 hour days or 4-10 hour days

Requirements for the Physical Therapy Assistant opportunity

  • Graduate of PTA Program
  • State licensure
  • Interest in Orthopedic Office patient care
  • Work well with team- Surgeons, Physician Assistants, Physical Therapists and Athletic Trainers
  • Strong note taking skills and EMR follow up with each patient

  • Base salary of $57-74,000 depending on experience
