We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Physical Asset Manager to help ensure the reliability, accountability, and long-term performance of company assets.

Job Summary

The Physical Asset Manager is responsible for the oversight, maintenance planning, performance monitoring, and lifecycle management of physical assets across the company. This includes vehicles, trailers, facilities, warehouses, storage yards, event equipment, and specialized operational assets. This role requires a proactive, hands-on professional capable of coordinating maintenance activities, managing vendors, conducting inspections, and ensuring assets remain operational, compliant, and deployment-ready.

The Physical Asset Manager serves as the owner of company asset standards, tracking systems, preventive maintenance programs, and long-term asset planning while supporting operational teams across all divisions.

Key ResponsibilitiesAsset Oversight & Maintenance
  • Maintain, service, and complete minor repairs for assets within the defined scope while owning the systems, standards, and accountability that govern company asset care

  • Manage the upkeep of company facilities, including offices, warehouses, storage yards, and operational properties

  • Develop, implement, and maintain preventive maintenance schedules and asset care programs

  • Conduct routine inspections to identify maintenance needs, operational risks, and opportunities for improvement

  • Ensure asset management practices comply with safety regulations, DOT requirements, and company standards

Operational Readiness & Support
  • Manage the day-to-day readiness of fleet vehicles, Event Restroom Trailer assets, Event Ice assets, and related operational equipment

  • Coordinate preparation, deployment, transportation, and post-event recovery activities

  • Respond to urgent maintenance concerns and asset failures to minimize operational disruptions

  • Support operational teams by ensuring equipment is properly maintained, available, and event-ready

Vendor & Budget Management
  • Source, evaluate, and manage relationships with mechanics, contractors, service providers, equipment suppliers, and specialty vendors

  • Solicit bids, negotiate pricing, and oversee service agreements

  • Develop and manage budgets related to maintenance, repairs, replacements, and procurement

  • Provide recommendations regarding capital expenditures and long-term asset planning

Asset Tracking & Reporting
  • Own and maintain asset tracking systems and inventory management processes across company platforms

  • Maintain accurate records of inventory, maintenance history, warranties, inspections, usage logs, and asset lifecycle status

  • Monitor asset performance, utilization metrics, and replacement timelines

  • Provide regular reporting and recommendations to leadership regarding asset health and capital planning

Standards, Training & Accountability
  • Develop training materials and documentation related to asset care, maintenance standards, and safety practices

  • Provide guidance and support to personnel responsible for handling company assets

  • Establish and reinforce asset handling, maintenance, and safety standards across departments

  • Promote accountability, attention to detail, and quality workmanship through audits, inspections, and corrective action plans

  • Ensure standards are upheld throughout the full asset lifecycle, including deployment, operation, recovery, storage, and maintenance

Preferred Qualifications
  • Proven experience in asset management, facilities management, maintenance coordination, or a related field

  • Strong understanding of preventive maintenance programs and asset lifecycle management

  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Experience working with fleet assets, facilities, trailers, or operational equipment preferred

  • Valid driver's license with a good driving record

  • FAST Team Certification eligible

Salary

$45,000–$50,000, commensurate with education and experience.

Travel Requirement
