Asset Management Specialistย ย 

Location: Washington, D.C.
Clearance Requirement: U.S. Citizenship with eligibility for High Public Trust

As a Asset Management Specialist, you will help maintain Treasury's IT asset inventory to ensure accuracy, compliance, and operational readiness. This role involves tagging and tracking equipment, updating records in ServiceNow, and supporting lifecycle management activities. You will work closely with support teams to keep hardware and software data current while assisting with periodic audits.

Salary Range:ย  46,000-75,000

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update IT asset records in ServiceNow.

  • Perform physical inventory checks and asset audits.

  • Tag and track new IT equipment upon receipt and deployment.

  • Coordinate with technical teams for asset updates and transfers.

  • Support compliance with Treasury IT asset management policies.

Basic Qualifications (Required)

  • U.S. Citizenship and eligibility for High Public Trust clearance.

  • 1-8+ years of relevant IT or asset management experience.

  • Proficiency in troubleshooting Windows OS, Microsoft Office Suite, and standard enterprise tools.

  • Experience with ITSM platforms such as ServiceNow.

  • Strong customer service and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • CompTIA A+, Network+, or Security+ certification.

  • ServiceNow or other ITSM platform experience.

  • Federal IT or large-scale enterprise asset management experience.

  • ITIL Foundation certification or equivalent training.
