Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Special Procedures Technologist to join our dynamic medical team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing various specialized radiographic procedures under the direction of a radiologist or other qualified physician. This position requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform specialized radiographic procedures such as angiography, cardiac catheterization, interventional radiology, and other fluoroscopy-guided examinations.
  • Prepare patients for procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the process.
  • Operate imaging equipment with precision and accuracy, adjusting parameters as needed to obtain high-quality images.
  • Assist physicians during procedures by providing technical support and anticipating their needs.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to infection control protocols and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Monitor patients for adverse reactions and respond promptly to any complications or emergencies.
  • Document procedures accurately, including patient information, procedural details, and any relevant observations.
  • Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team to ensure seamless coordination of patient care.
Requirements:
  • Current certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  • Valid California state fluoroscopy license.
