Job description

Position Title: Sr. Contract Analyst
Department: IT
Reports to: Director Vendor Management Office
JOB SUMMARY:
Under minimal direction the Sr. Contract Analyst is responsible for reviewing IT contract requests for completeness, accuracy and proper process flows to assist the business with the end-to-end process identifying and addressing operational, financial, security and technological risks. The Sr. Contracts Analyst requires little or no supervision to review and negotiate all types of agreements, including, Master Agreements, Contracts, Subcontracts and Grants ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.
Required qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in related discipline with a minimum of 5 years relevant experience.
  • Three (3) or more years of applicable work experience with a proven track record of progressive, relevant procurement, contract/vendor management, and information technology experience.
  • Strong understanding of contracting/VMO process fundamentals and the structure of contractual business terms and conditions requirements for Information Technology goods and services,
  • Ability to successfully manage multiple tasks at any given point, strong relationship building & communication skills.
  • Strong computer skills including Windows, Outlook, Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, and MS Project
Preferred qualifications:
  • Skilled in the field of technology leading contract negotiations, drafting, sourcing in partnership with all levels of management for developing Master Service Agreements (MSAs) and Statements of Work (SOWs), including the development of RFIs, RFQs, RFPs, NDAs, BAAs.
  • Experience working in a technical environment as well as handling day-to-day operational requests from the business and the ability to multi-task/manage multiple priorities concurrently under time constraints
  • Knowledge of healthcare industry and hospital operations
  • CPM, CPSM, or other related certifications
  • Vendor Relationship Management experience
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Manage and oversee the contractual activities of Information Technology Department.
  • Review and negotiate all types of agreements, including, Master Agreements, Contracts, Subcontracts and Grants to ensure compliance.
  • Collaborate with various internal departments including Accounting, Legal and Finance.
  • Review contractual documents to ensure adherence to company policy, specifications and requirements, identify risks and areas of concern on contract terms and conditions and provide contractual advice, guidance and support to Operations Managers and Leadership
  • Creates, writes, negotiates and reviews hardware, software licensing, telecommunication and professional services contracts and works with the business units, legal and IT VMO/Contracting when drafting agreements.
  • Proactively monitor upcoming renewals and negotiate the contract for the best price and Terms and Conditions.
  • Assists in identification, development, and implementation of new contract policies and procedures and SLA’s.
  • Perform risk-assessments and compliance reviews in accordance with internal and external regulatory requirements.
  • Performs contract closeout activities.
  • Performs other duties as assigned or required.
