A Typical Day in the Life:
As a tax supervisor, you will oversee the preparation and review of tax returns, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery for a diverse client base.
Responsibilities may include:
  • Onboard and mentor new staff and interns while supervising workload distribution
  • Preparation of the highest level of returns and workpapers and draft technical memos
  • Detail review of tax returns, providing feedback and strategic insights
  • Develop expertise in specialized tax areas and respond to IRS/state notices
  • Contribute to training initiatives including content development
  • Ensure timely and accurate completion of client engagements
  • Build strong client relationships and identify opportunities for value-added services
  • Support administrative tasks, stay current with tax law and technology, and recommend process improvements
