Job description

As a Tax Manager, you value working closely with others to plan for the future and to help successful privately held for-profit companies and their owners avoid surprises, coordinate tax strategies and grow. You will provide mostly on-site support to your teammates and clients and communicate regularly with them to understand their businesses and industries. Duties & Responsibilities

  • Manage tax advisory services and tax compliance for pass-through entities with a broad range of for-profit industries including Construction, Manufacturing, Retail and Professional Services.
  • Experience researching tax related matters and providing written correspondence with an understanding of the structure of the Internal Revenue Code and Treasury Regulations.
  • Helping to develop, build and manage client relationships including Billing and Collections independently.
  • Representing us in the professional and business community with a strong positive attitude.
  • Experience managing, developing, and training professional tax staff.
  • Experience managing multiple client engagements.
  • Strong sense of ownership for advocating for and providing a voice of direction for our Firm by participating in committees designed for client or staff development and operations.
  • Excellent supervisory, tam building and time management skills.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 3 - 7 years or more of relevant experience in public accounting including technical tax consulting and research
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
  • CPA license required

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in taxation or L.L.M.
  • Experience with CCH Prosystems tax software, Engagement and Document a plus
