Job description

Job Title: Senior Project Manager

Department: Project Management Reports

To: Director Project Management

Status: Regular Full Time Position - Exempt/Salary

Position Summary:

We are seeking a disciplined Senior Project Manager to execute GrayWolf Modular's complex engineered-to-order modular infrastructure programs from order handoff through closeout. This role will own day-to-day program execution by coordinating engineering release, procurement, production, testing, logistics, and site-interface requirements while maintaining schedule discipline, risk visibility, change control, and clear customer communication.

Core Responsibilities:

• Lead assigned modular infrastructure programs from internal turnover through shipment, site interface, and final closeout.

• Build and maintain integrated project schedules tied to engineering release, procurement, production readiness, FAT / testing, logistics, and field milestones.

• Own action logs, risk registers, issue escalation, change tracking, and recovery plans for active projects.

• Coordinate closely with engineering, supply chain, production control, warehouse, quality, testing, and field-support teams to keep execution aligned.

• Manage customer-facing status updates, meeting cadence, submittal tracking, and commercial communication with professionalism and urgency.

• Translate contract requirements, approved scope, and revision changes into executable internal priorities and deliverables.

• Monitor schedule risk, cost exposure, and milestone readiness, then escalate early with recommended actions.

• Support shipment planning, site readiness coordination, turnover packages, and punch-list closure activities as required.

• Contribute to continuous improvement of GrayWolf's project controls, handoff quality, and execution discipline as program volume scales.

Qualifications:

I. Work Experience

Required

• 10+ years of project management, program execution, or delivery leadership experience in modular construction, industrial manufacturing, mission-critical infrastructure, or engineered equipment environments.

• Proven success coordinating cross-functional execution on schedule-sensitive, high-value projects with demanding customers and multiple internal stakeholders.

II. Skills & Competencies

Required

• Strong schedule, risk, issue, and change-management discipline in engineered-to-order project environments.

• Ability to coordinate engineering, procurement, production, testing, logistics, and site-interface activities without losing accountability or momentum.

• Clear communication skills with the ability to manage customer expectations, drive action items, and keep teams aligned under pressure.

Preferred

• Experience with modular data center infrastructure, switchgear, cooling equipment, power buildings, skids, or other large engineered assemblies.

• Knowledge of field installation, commissioning, turnover documentation, and punch-list closeout.

• PMP or equivalent project-management credential.

III. Education

Required

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or a related field preferred.

IV. Software & Technology

Required

• Proficiency with Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, ERP / MRP systems, Excel, and project-reporting tools.

V. Work Environment

Work is performed across office, manufacturing, testing, and occasional field environments. This role requires regular interaction with plant teams, routine participation in execution meetings, and periodic travel to customer sites, vendor locations, and project meetings.

Reasonable accommodations will be made upon request for those who have disabilities that qualify under the Americans with Disabilities Act.
