Project Manager
Our Round Rock, TX business unit is growing! We have a rewarding opportunity for and Project Manager!
AS our Project manager, you are a key member of the Curtiss-Wright - Order/Project Management team, reporting to the Director of Order/Project Management. You are responsible for providing the strategy for the planning and execution of all development and production orders and projects.
You are accountable for the performance (time, quality, cost and/or as-bid Gross Margin) for the order/project and manages the key project elements, including, but not limited to, schedule, cost, resources, risks and the adherence to technical and schedule performance plans.

Salary Information: $108,900 - $125,000 annually, plus bonus

Your Challenge:
  • Evaluate and communicate prioritization impacts
  • Work directly with engineering resources between multiple orders / projects in a highly dynamic customer driven environment.
  • Quantify trade-offs when reprioritizing work, identifying customer commitments or milestones affected.
  • Analyze, track and communicate order schedules and budgets and report progress to senior management.
  • Ensure all contract deliveries are met.
  • Participate in the contract/bid review process.
  • Manage order/project from initial placement to final delivery and resolve any issues during the process.
  • Effectively communicate requirements, dependencies, priorities and progress with multiple internal departments.
  • Identify, develop and implement recovery plans for high-risk, off-schedule or unanticipated events.
  • Managing risks, issues and taking appropriate corrective action measures.
  • Supports achieving positive cost and schedule variances on orders
  • Provide regular status updates on schedule health
  • Maintain an active list of all assigned orders/projects

Your Expertise:
  • 3-5+ years within Project Management.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment is highly desirable.
  • Bachelor's degree in program management, business management/administration, or related field is preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Knowledge of ERP system required.
  • Ability to read engineering prints preferred.
  • Must be a proactive team player and consistently be at work, on time.
