Our client is a well-established, family-owned manufacturing company with more than 80 years of success producing custom metal tubing, welded assemblies, tube bending, and fabricated components for a diverse customer base. With approximately 115 employees, the organization has built a strong reputation for quality, long-term customer relationships, and operational excellence. Led by a hands-on leadership team with deep engineering expertise, the company offers a collaborative environment where employees work cross-functionally to support customers from concept through production while driving continuous improvement and profitability.




The Project Manager will serve as the primary liaison between customers and internal departments, overseeing manufacturing projects from initial quotation through production launch and final delivery. This individual will ensure projects remain on schedule, meet customer expectations, and achieve profitability while coordinating with Sales, Engineering, Production, Quality, and Accounting. The ideal candidate understands manufacturing operations, enjoys building customer relationships, and thrives in a fast-paced environment where balancing customer satisfaction with business objectives is essential.



Key Responsibilities

  • Manage customer projects from quotation through production launch and final delivery.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Support the estimating process by collaborating with the sales team on pricing, costing, and profitability analysis.
  • Review and maintain pricing for manufactured components to ensure long-term profitability.
  • Coordinate new product introductions and manage customer expectations during project start-up.
  • Create, review, and maintain bills of materials, routings, and manufacturing documentation to ensure production teams have accurate information.
  • Review drawings, blueprints, specifications, and quality requirements before production begins.
  • Partner closely with Production, Engineering, Quality, Sales, and Accounting to ensure projects remain on schedule and within budget.
  • Maintain project documentation, pricing history, engineering revisions, and customer records.
  • Monitor project progress, proactively resolve issues, and ensure customer satisfaction while supporting operational goals.



Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university.
  • 2–5 years of project or program management experience within a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience supporting customer projects from quotation through production.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and production operations.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and product specifications.
  • Experience with pricing, costing, profitability analysis, and estimating support.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across multiple departments.
  • Proficiency with spreadsheets
