Job description

Our client, a growing import and distribution company specializing in construction materials, is seeking an experienced on‑site Warehouse Manager to oversee and optimize warehouse operations in Fort Lauderdale, FL.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, machine operations, packing, and shipping.
  • Maintain accurate inventory levels and conduct regular cycle counts.
  • Ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment and distribution.
  • Implement and enforce warehouse policies, procedures, and operational standards.
  • Supervise, train, schedule, and evaluate warehouse staff.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
  • Oversee health, safety, security, and insurance‐related matters.
  • Coordinate with logistics and sales teams to support overall business operations.
  • Prepare and review operational and inventory reports.
  • Handle damaged or obsolete inventory according to company guidelines.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of warehouse management or supervisory experience.
  • Experience with inventory management and warehouse systems.
  • Strong communication and cross‑functional coordination skills.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations, workers’ compensation, and warehouse compliance.
