Job description

Site Manager needed for apartment communities in Newport News. The ideal candidate will have experience with managing multi-family properties and maintenance personnel.


REQUIREMENTS

  •      2+ years of property management.
  •       Prior experience with Yardi management systems.
  •       Supervisory experience working with maintenance teams.
  •       Knowledge of the Virginia Residential Landlord and Tenant Act (VRLTA) and Fair Housing Laws.

CRITICAL QUALIFICATIONS

  • Self-motivated, detail oriented and reliable.
  • Can establish relationships quickly and easily with a diverse group of people.
  • Has a high energy level and great customer service skills.
  • Goal oriented and results focused.


RESPONSIBILITIES 

Site Manager responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

·       Schedule appointments with prospective applicants.

·       Conduct daily meetings with the office and maintenance staff.

·       Complete move-in process in 72 hours.

·       Collect monies for application fees, security deposits, rent, etc., as per policy and guidelines.

·       Create work orders and follow-up with the resident(s) for satisfactory completion.

·       Update available marketing tools for property rentals daily. Make recommendations for specials, promotions and/or advertising.

·       Perform quarterly inspections of all unit interiors and schedule preventive maintenance.
