Job Summary
The Contract Specialist will manage the endtoend contract lifecycle, ensuring that all agreements are legally sound, financially prudent, and aligned with business objectives. This role partners closely with procurement, finance, operations, and legal teams to draft, negotiate, and monitor contracts while mitigating risk.
DaytoDay Duties
- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of contracts (vendor, services, licensing, NDAs, etc.).
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to capture requirements and translate them into contractual terms.
- Conduct risk assessments and ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies.
- Maintain an organized contract repository, track key dates (renewals, expirations) and monitor performance milestones.
- Provide guidance and training to staff on contract procedures and best practices.
- Resolve contractual disputes and coordinate with external counsel when escalation is needed.
- Generate regular reports on contract status, compliance metrics, and cost savings for senior leadership.
- Continuously refine standard contract templates and clause libraries.

- Bachelors degree in Business, Law, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 35 years of experience in contract administration, procurement, or legal support.
- Proven ability to interpret and apply contract language and commercial terms.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and problemsolving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Proficiency with contract management software and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- High level of integrity, attention to detail, and capability to work independently.

- Familiarity with U.S. contract law, procurement regulations, and compliance standards.
- Professional certification such as Certified Professional Contracts Manager (CPCM) or equivalent.
