Job Overview The traditional title of HR Director does not accurately reflect the type of leadership role UNRL needs. Most HR roles are built around compliance, risk management, and enforcing policies. While those responsibilities are necessary, they are not the primary objective for this position.

The focus of this role is talent development and continuing to build one of the most capable teams in the industry. The individual in this position will be responsible for building systems that allow UNRL to consistently recruit, develop, and retain exceptional people. The Head of Talent is responsible for the full talent lifecycle across the company, including recruiting, onboarding, training, talent development, and maintaining strong organizational infrastructure.

The ideal candidate demonstrates sound judgment, unwavering ethical standards, and a commitment to operational and cultural excellence, acting as a trusted partner to leadership while shaping a thriving, high-performing workplace. Responsibilities Recruiting and Talent Acquisition Partner with department heads to define hiring needs and role requirements Build structured recruiting pipelines Source and screen candidates Deliver the top 3-5 qualified candidates for each open position Continuously improve hiring processes and interview frameworks Onboarding and Training Build and maintain UNRL's onboarding pipeline Implement company-wide training programs Support department leaders in developing training frameworks Ensure new hires ramp quickly and consistently Continuous Education Build and manage UNRL University Create and monitor effectiveness of learning opportunities for employees at all levels Align teams around consistent leadership and professional development Organizational Infrastructure Maintain an accurate employee census Track tenure, compensation, benefits, and employment data Maintain visibility across the organization's workforce structure HR and Culture Support Provide guidance on performance management and employee relations Ensure leadership follows appropriate steps when addressing performance issues Support a healthy and highperformance company culture Success in this role means UNRL consistently attracts top talent, ramps employees quickly, and develops a workforce that performs at the highest level. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced degree or HR certifications (SPHR, SHRM-SCP, etc.) preferred

10+ years of progressive of talent acquisition, learning & development, and HR operations in high growth companies. Hands-on experience managing end-to-end talent processes, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, employee relations, compliance, and retention initiatives. Strong experience designing and implementing learning, development, and leadership programs to build skills and foster engagement.

Clear understanding of HR foundational practices, compliance, labor laws, and training methodologies. Proficient in systems, e.g. HRIS (Paylocity) and Microsoft Office Suite, Canva, Monday.com

Expertise in talent acquisition strategies, including employer branding, recruiting high-caliber candidates, and candidate lifecycle management. Ability to anticipate and react to needs in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Strong business acumen and understanding of how HR strategies drive organizational success.

Comfortable navigating ambiguity, managing multiple priorities, and driving change in a dynamic, fast-growing environment. Experience acting as a strategic partner to executive leadership, shaping workforce strategy and organizational development initiatives.
