Job description

The Talent Experience Manager is responsible for overseeing the entire associate life cycle at Ivy Hospitality, ensuring a seamless and engaging experience from recruitment through onboarding, job transitions, performance evaluations, employee relations andย offboarding. This role focuses on optimizing the employee journey while fostering a culture of growth, engagement, and retention.

Pay Range: $60,000-$75,000 per year based on experience and qualifications

Location: Hybrid - 3 days in office, 2 days remote

  • Manage onboarding and pre-employment processes, including offer documentation, background checks, drug screens, I-9 compliance, and new hire paperwork completion.

  • Maintain accurate employee records and oversee People and Culture systems,ย onboarding platforms, and applicant tracking systems to ensure data integrity and compliance.

  • Support associate relations matters, workplace concerns, investigations, performance management, and progressive discipline processes.

  • Conduct workplace investigations related to policy violations, harassment concerns, attendance issues, and associate complaints.

  • Partner with leaders to ensure compliance with company policies, employment laws, and operational standards.

  • Assist with audits, unemployment claims, leave administration, and risk mitigation efforts related to employment practices.

  • Monitorย onboarding and employment practices to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.

  • Support the administration and tracking of leave requests, accommodations, and required employment documentation.

  • Coordinate recruitment and staffing support for leadership-level roles, including conducting phone screens, candidate communication, hiring events, andย onboarding coordination.

  • Assist with leadership recruitment efforts by reviewing resumes and identifying qualified candidates for consideration.

  • Generate People and Culture reports and workforce metrics related to staffing, turnover,ย onboarding, and compliance trends.

  • Audit employee files, system workflows, andย onboarding processes to ensure accuracy and completion.

  • Support training initiatives, policyย rollouts, and operational process improvements that enhance the associate experience and organizational effectiveness.

  • Provide guidance and support to leaders and associates while promoting a positive, compliant, and hospitality-driven workplace culture.

  • Partner with operational leaders to support associate engagement, retention, and workforce planning initiatives.

  • Respond to associate questions related to policies,ย onboarding, benefits administration, and employment practices.

  • Support performance management processes through documentation review, coaching guidance, and corrective action administration.

  • Maintain confidentiality while handling sensitive associate, leadership, and company information.

Qualifications:

  • Education: SHRM-CP/ PHR preferred
  • Bachelorโ€™s Degree preferred (combined education and industry-experience considered)
  • Minimum of 3-5 years HR experience with a specialized focus in experience in talent acquisition,ย onboarding, employee development, and engagement. Hospitality, retail, or other high-volume industries preferred.
  • Experience withย HRIS, ATS, Sourcing and Recruitment Marketing Tools
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative management style.
  • Strong working knowledge of federal and applicable state employment laws.
  • Demonstrates a high level of confidentiality, diplomacy and excellent judgment in successfully navigating sensitive issues.
