ROLE OVERVIEW
We are looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist, who will be responsible for executing recruitment efforts for all CertaSite functions. You will support and fill requisitions while developing strong pipelines of qualified diverse candidates to meet position requirements from internal, external, and/or referral candidate pools. You will understand and implement diverse and functional talent acquisition strategies. You will collaborate with hiring managers, other recruiters, and the rest of the HR team to ensure positions are filled on a timely basis and our talent pool is overflowing. This is a fast paced and demanding role with high visibility within the company. This role reports to the Human Resources Director.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
• You will partner with hiring managers to develop job specifications/requirements, competencies, make salary recommendations and negotiate starting salary with candidates
• Evaluate employment factors such as job experience, education and training, skills, knowledge and abilities, and other data pertinent to classification, selection, and referral
• Source candidates, manage workforce demands and develop networks to ensure constant flow of qualified candidates using various tools such as social media, career fairs, agencies and recruiting contractors
• Phone screen and conduct interviews to recruit prospective employees
• Manage applicant tracking system and creates reports and metrics analysis
• Prepare applicant assessments, provide applicants with information on the company, oversees background checks and drug testing, check references and ensure successful hiring and on-boarding process
• Provide excellent candidate care throughout the Recruiting process
• Identify areas of improvement and create solutions for those issues
• Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
• 3 – 5 years of experience in talent acquisition or recruiting
IDEAL QUALITIES
• Ample experience filling roles at all organizational levels from hourly roles to the C-Suite
• Industry experience in fire protection, life safety, or the building trades
• Associate’s degree in human resources or a related field
• Professional in Human Resources (PHR) Certification, CHRMP Certification in Talent Acquisition (TA), or something comparable
• Corporate and staffing (headhunting) experience
• Diverse technology background pertaining to applicant tracking systems (ATS) and deep understanding of social media recruiting strategies
• Understanding of how to incorporate diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) concepts into recruiting campaigns
WORKING CONDITIONS amp; PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
• Overtime hours may be required at month end and as requested
• Controlled climate, office environment
• Occasional work from home options
• Required to sit for long periods of time, 8 or more hours per day
