Responsibilities

*Will have supervisory and hourly team member responsibilities in this role.

  • Enthusiastically supports, actively promotes, and demonstrates superior customer service in accordance with their fellow peers in training, respective course instructors and supervisors, and all departmental and company leaders for River City Casino & Hotel.
  • Follows game procedures and trainings when dealing Blackjack, Carnival Games, Craps, Roulette, Poker, Baccarat, and any other form or variation of table games.
  • Responsible for supervising and managing staff in the Table Games department.
  • Adheres to scheduling and coordinates with manager regarding any concerns, with attention to guest satisfaction.
  • Shares responsibility of the overall engagement of all team members with Casino Operations Assistant Shift and/or Shift.
  • Responsible for the accountability of the chips, cards, dice, and all other gaming equipment.
  • Assists in the maintenance and processing of all paperwork, logs, schedules, and communication pertaining to the Table Games department.
  • Monitors chips and cash transactions between dealers and customers and ensures that proper payout amounts are paid to customers, in accordance with established procedures.
  • Responsible for ensuring regulatory compliance within area of authority and reporting potential issues to management.

Requirements

  • Applicant must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Ability to work any shift or hours, including nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Must have strong verbal communication skills; must be fluent and literate in English.
  • Must have excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of energy and take a proactive and strategic approach to dealing with issues.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with team members at all levels of the organization.
  • Able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately to figure payoffs.
