This role works closely with internal subject matter experts across, HRIS, identity management, cybersecurity, IT operations, and business functional teams to maintain a secure and well-governed Workday environment.
Responsibilities & Requirements

  • Engage internal stakeholders to gather input and secure agreement on security design, role structure, and access assignments.
  • Develop and maintain security role structures and access mappings aligned with organizational roles and responsibilities.
  • Provide mapping of employees to Workday security groups to support appropriate access across implementation, testing, and production environments.
  • Develop and maintain security documentation, including security design, configuration decisions, and access governance standards.
  • Support the end-to-end tenant build, ensuring security configurations align with system functionality and business requirements.
  • Ensure security configurations are thoroughly tested across all testing phases, including unit testing, system integration testing, and user acceptance testing.
  • Provide security support across all testing cycles, troubleshooting access issues and validating security configurations.
  • Conduct regular security audits across all Workday tenants to ensure compliance with organizational policies and segregation of duties standards.
  • Partner with IT and cybersecurity teams to ensure alignment with enterprise identity management and security policies.
  • Maintain and enhance the Workday security framework following system go-live, supporting ongoing system governance and operational stability.
  • Monitor Workday releases and evaluate required security updates.
  • Provide guidance, mentoring, and training to internal teams as needed.

Work Experience:
