About the Job
The Operator I is responsible for operating filling and packaging equipment in a safe, efficient, and quality-focused manner. This role requires strong technical knowledge of production equipment, adherence to SOPs and GMP standards, and the ability to lead and support team members on the production line. The Operator II plays a key role in maintaining production efficiency, product quality, and continuous improvement efforts.
What You'll Do
  • Operate filling, packaging, labeling, and sealing equipment safely and efficiently
  • Read production schedules, complete changeovers, and run high-speed production lines
  • Troubleshoot equipment, perform breakdowns/cleaning, and reassemble components to specifications
  • Set up and adjust cappers, labelers, banders, shrink wrap, induction seal, and inkjet equipment
  • Operate pasteurizers and maintain required CCPs
  • Follow SOPs, GMPs, MPRs, and work instructions to ensure quality and compliance
  • Monitor product quality, understand AQL standards, and address issues proactively
  • Lead, train, and support team members on the production line
  • Partner with Maintenance to identify and report equipment issues early
  • Accurately complete production documentation and Redzone entries
  • Support continuous improvement and Kaizen initiatives
  • Perform other duties as assigned or needed

Work Environment
This role involves working in manufacturing areas where personal protective equipment (PPE), including safety glasses with side shields and hearing protection, may be required. GMP practices are strictly enforced. The work environment consists primarily of ambient room temperatures, standard lighting, and a traditional warehouse/manufacturing setting.
