Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for a Supply Chain Management Analyst to join our Fasteners Procurement Operations team in Everett, Washington or Renton, Washington.

The Supply Chain Analyst will have responsibility across all airplane programs. This position will incorporate change and planning decisions to arrive at optimal solutions. The Statement of Work includes standard Supply Chain Management functions, data analysis, forecasting, supply and/or demand troubleshooting, and additional duties as assigned.In this role you will be working with a great team of Supply Chain Management Analysts (SCMA) that purchase raw materials, supplier parts and releasing of production orders while ensuring adherence to program schedule, organizational compliance with inventory management policies and contractual requirements

Our team is currently hiring for an Associate (Level 2) or Mid-Level (Level 3) or Senior (Level 4) Supply Chain Management Analyst.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Incorporates change and planning decisions to arrive at optimal solutions.
  • Applies Supply Chain Management (SCM) methodologies to ensure coordination in the global supply chain.
  • Analyzes complex material requirements.
  • Verifies and incorporates Bills of Material/schedules into a production plan.
  • Determines part number attributes.
  • Initiates, coordinates and authorizes release of orders by evaluating system requirements and resource availability.
  • Ensures on-time delivery.
  • Documents and resolves order delinquencies.
  • Reports schedule adherence issues.
  • Develops and controls inventory plans.
  • Optimizes inventory levels.
  • Analyzes and dispositions excess inventories.
  • Initiates audits.
  • Develops and creates schedules for products and services.
  • Assists in developing estimates and schedules for new business proposals.
  • Implements and maintains process improvements by analyzing and establishing best practices for materials management to improve SCM performance.
  • Works under general direction.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills / Experience):

  • 2+ years of experience in Supplier Management, Supply Chain and/or Procurement practices and processes
  • 2+ years of experience in supporting operations, materials management and/or supply chain functions in production environment
  • 2+ years of experience with all Microsoft Office suite applications (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint)

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills / Experience):

  • Level 3: 5+ years of experience in Supplier Management, Supply Chain and/or Procurement practices and processes
  • Level 4: 7+ years of experience in Supplier Management, Supply Chain and/or Procurement practices and processes
  • Bachelor's Degree or Advanced Degree
  • 3+ years of experience with warehousing vendor management operations
  • 3+ years of experience in managing projects
  • 3+ years of experience in aerospace or manufacturing industry
  • 3+ years of experience leading or managing process improvement projects
  • 3+ years of experience in performing data analysis
