The Program
Par Health offers an 11-week internship program designed to provide an immersive experience in the pharmaceutical industry. As a Par Health Intern, you'll have the chance to contribute to meaningful projects that align with your field of study. This program allows you to apply classroom knowledge in a real-world corporate setting while building valuable connections through networking opportunities across the organization.
Summary of Position
The Supply Chain team has access to a great deal of data. We just don't have enough time to identify the data and use it to make proactive decisions. Our summer intern will help us develop better tools to improve our daily and weekly processes. They will develop models that make data mining more efficient.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Lead our daily focus factory meeting. This will give the intern an understanding of our overall manufacturing setup. It will help them determine better possible methods of putting the data together
  • We want to focus on our capacity planning modules. We want to perform more scenario planning to look at alternatives for scheduling. The intern will work in the system and help create the models.
  • Manage our daily and weekly KPI's. Look for ways to analyze gaps in our performance and recommend areas for improvement.

Minimum Requirements

  • Enrolled in bachelor's degree program related to Economics, Data Analytics, or Supply Chain Management.
  • Advanced knowledge of excel
  • Some experience with Structured Query Language.
  • Motivated self-starter, operates independently, etc.
  • Strong communication skills, etc.

Relationship with Others/Scope of Position

Interact with our Quality and Operations teams to achieve our desired production goals.
