The primary objective of the Business Development Manager - Outdoor Video is to sell comprehensive security systems and services to the Company’s clients: local building owners, managers, tenants and developers. Kastle, a well-established leader in the security industry, recognizes the challenges and complexity that its clients must overcome to successfully perform ongoing management of their security systems. Kastle uniquely runs and manages security systems so its clients don’t have to face these challenges.


Responsibilities
  • Prospects in-person, and travel as needed within your geographic territory for sales opportunities
  • Participates in key industry associations and events to increase awareness of Kastle ’s brand and favorably position Kastle to targeted clients within the community
  • Performs physical surveys of outdoor industrial premises such as scrap metal recyclers, auto auctions, waste management, buillding suppliers and construction sites
  • Designs security system solutions that meet the client’s needs
  • Meets and exceeds sales quota and revenue goals in assigned territory

Qualifications
  • Proven success in working independently to penetrate a territory, growing sales and revenue
  • Five (5) years successful sales experience (security sales, monitored video solutions preferably or experience selling to scrap metal recyclers, auto auctions, waste management, building suppliers or construction)
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Well developed prospecting techniques and consultative, strategic selling to industrial clients at the executive level
  • Demonstrated excellent interpersonal skills, including verbal and written communication and presentations
  • Prior experience closing sales of complex systems or services with protracted sales cycles
  • Experience with sales force automation (CRM) systems, creating PowerPoint and video demos and the ability to learn our proprietary tools and technologies
  • An entrepreneurial mindset & demonstrated ability to work independently to meet goals

The anticipated base salary range for this position is $80,000 – $95,000 annually, depending on experience, skills, education, and other job-related factors.
