Position Summary/Job Duties:
Responsibilities include:
  • Follow SOP (Standard Operating Procedures) and maintain lab documentation, Provide accurate, timely and quality packaging of bovine semen in accordance with ABS standards.
  • Learn other ancillary processes throughout the production lab as business needs necessitate.
  • Adhere to proper cleaning, sanitation and sterilization protocols for all processing and collection equipment.
  • Provide ideas for improvement in the work environment.
  • Communicate issues to appropriate personnel (leads, supervisors, manager, support group.
  • Perform all assigned duties based on daily production needs.
  • Follow safe work procedures and report any incidents.
  • Perform other projects and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications: (required)
  • Must possess or working toward a High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license.
  • Ability to list/transfer 50 lbs. occasionally.
  • Strong attention to detail and focus on always maintaining the highest level of quality.
  • Ability to perform basic math skills.
  • Ability to utilize a computer, keyboard, and mouse to accomplish work tasks (includes but is not limited to the ability to look at computer monitor screens for the entirety of assigned shift).
  • Ability to work well within a team environment.
  • Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
  • Experience within a production laboratory setting is preferred.

Working Conditions:
  • Stand for extended periods of time.
  • Monitor equipment and computer for prolonged periods of time.
  • Exposure to chemicals occasionally (PPE is provided).
