Job description

This role is open for summer employment and provides hands‑on experience in fragrance measurement, staging, and inventory control within a production environment.

Position Overview
Measure and portion fragrance and light stabilizer according to fragrance pick ticket and stage for production work orders.
Hours: 7:00am-3:30pm, Monday-Friday
Starting Pay: $19/hour
Essential Job Functions (include, but not limited to)
  1. Utilize fragrance pick tickets to prepare fragrance and light stabilizer for work orders.
  2. Accurately weigh and stage fragrance and light stabilizer according to fragrance pick tickets.
  3. Record fragrance and light stabilizer quantities and complete material issue transactions in the ERP system (Sage X3), applying inventory to specific work orders.
  4. Maintain accurate fragrance and light stabilizer inventory by completing transactions diligently during the picking process.
  5. Handle additional material requests from production for fragrance and light stabilizer, filling orders promptly and updating the system accordingly.
  6. Collaborate with the manager to resolve issues as needed.
  7. Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements – Education, Skills and Experiences
The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
  1. High school diploma or equivalent.
  2. Strong attention to detail.
  3. Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize tasks based on deadlines.
  4. Proficiency in computer skills, including Microsoft Office Word and Excel.
  5. Previous experience using a scale is preferred.
  6. Familiarity with inventory practices and standards.
  7. Must work well independently on most projects.
  8. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively in both verbal and written English.
  9. Collaborate closely with Material Handlers to manage fragrance barrels and stage fragrance for work orders.
  10. Able to perform transactions in the ERP system (Sage X3) to keep accurate inventory records.
Requirements – Physical amp; Environmental
  1. Ability to lift up to 60 pounds and maneuver objects weighing up to 500 pounds repetitively.
  2. Low sensitivity to highly fragranced environments.
  3. Ability to stand, walk throughout the plant, and climb stairs repetitively.
  4. Position requires you to be around moving machinery.
  5. Exposure to marked changes in temperature and/or humidity.
