At the present time, the Norristown Area School District is seeking up to 8 qualified Multilingual Teachers to support a four-week summer camp program running Monday through Thursday during July 2026.

We are looking for passionate educators who are committed to supporting multilingual learners in an engaging and inclusive summer program. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful impact while working alongside a dedicated team of professionals.
Position Details:
Effective July 2026, temporary Multilingual Teacher positions are available within the Norristown Area School District for the duration of the summer camp program. These positions support school-age students in a structured summer learning environment.
Schedule:
  • Monday through Thursday
  • 8:30 AM - 1:30 PM (5 hours per day)
  • Four-week program in July 2026 (exact dates to be confirmed)

Qualifications:
  • Valid Pennsylvania certification in English as a Second Language (ESL) preferred
  • Current clearances (PA Criminal History, Child Abuse, and FBI Fingerprints) required
  • Ability to commit to the full duration of the program
  • Experience working with diverse learners, including students receiving special education services, preferred

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement engaging, student-centered instructional programming for multilingual learners
  • Differentiate instruction to meet a range of language proficiency levels
  • Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment
  • Collaborate with staff to support student growth and program goals

Hourly Rate: (Based on Years of Experience)
0-13 years experience (steps 1-5) = $39.00 per hour
14-28 years experience (steps 6-10) = $44.00 per hour
29+ years experience (steps 11-16) = $49.00 per hour
