Role Overview:

As a Sales Engineer at Work 365, you will be the technical expert and trusted advisor during the sales process. You will collaborate with prospective customers, demonstrating how Work 365โ€™s products align with their business needs, particularly for those familiar with CSP, MSP, or Distributor environments, as well as Professional Services Automation (PSA) platforms like ConnectWise or Autotask. Your deep understanding of billing, recurring revenue, and subscription management will help position Work 365 as the solution of choice.



Responsibilities:

  • Pre-Sales Support
  • Collaborate with the sales team to engage prospects, conduct discovery sessions, and identify technical and business requirements.
  • Deliver tailored product demonstrations and technical presentations that address customer needs and challenges.
  • Serve as a trusted technical resource to articulate the benefits and ROI of Work 365โ€™s solutions.

Solution Design

  • Work closely with customers to design solutions leveraging Work 365โ€™s tools to meet their unique business needs.
  • Provide guidance on best practices for implementing billing automation, subscription management, and recurring revenue models.

Sales Enablement

  • Assist the sales team in developing proposals, RFP responses, technical documentation and videos for internal you and prospects.
  • Partner with the product and marketing teams to refine messaging, content, and demonstrations to reflect customer needs and market trends.

Collaboration & Feedback

  • Act as the voice of the customer by providing feedback to product and engineering teams on customer needs, pain points, and potential enhancements.
  • Collaborate with the onboarding and customer success teams to ensure a seamless handoff from sales to implementation.

Industry Expertise

  • Stay informed about developments in the CSP, MSP, Distributor ecosystem, and PSA platforms like ConnectWise and Autotask.
  • Educate prospects on trends and best practices in billing, subscription management, and recurring revenue strategies.


Requirements:
  • 3+ years as a Sales Engineer, Pre-Sales Consultant, or similar role, preferably within a CSP, MSP, Distributor, recurring revenue billing, or ecosystem company.
  • Experience with PSA platforms like ConnectWise or Autotask is a strong advantage.
  • Strong technical and business acumen with the ability to bridge the gap between customer needs and product capabilities.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Deep understanding of billing automation, recurring revenue, subscription models, the Microsoft Cloud ecosystem, and Microsoft tools and products (Modern Work, Biz Apps & Azure), especially Power Platform.
