Job Summary:
TrueTandem is a trusted information technology solutions provider focused on delivering innovative solutions for customers, communities, and employees. They are seeking experienced Senior Azure Infrastructure Cloud Engineers to support Microsoft cloud implementation and modernization projects for U.S. Federal government agencies, requiring expertise in Azure infrastructure and cloud services.
Responsibilities:
โ€ข Design, deploy, and sustain Azure infrastructure aligned with the Microsoft Cloud Adoption Framework (CAF).
โ€ข Configure and manage Azure Management Groups, Subscriptions, and Policies to ensure effective governance and compliance.
โ€ข Securely implement and manage Azure Key Vault for secrets, certificates, and key management.
โ€ข Manage Azure Storage solutions and implement data protection strategies.
โ€ข Architect and support Networking solutions including Virtual WANs, vNets, and Network Security Groups (NSGs).
โ€ข Deploy and manage Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) environments, including host pools and FSLogix profiles to support enterprise users.
โ€ข Configure and monitor Azure Logging, Monitoring, and Alerts for proactive operations and incident response.
โ€ข Support workload and application migrations into Azure environments.
โ€ข Ensure governance, compliance, and alignment with Zero Trust, TIC 3.0, and federal security baselines.
โ€ข Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot, optimize, and secure Azure operations.
Qualifications:
Required:
โ€ข An active TS/SCI with polygraph.
โ€ข Minimum of five (5) years of Tier II or three (3) years of Tier III Azure infrastructure support.
โ€ข Proven ability to design, deploy, and sustain Azure core infrastructure aligned with the Cloud Adoption Framework (CAF).
โ€ข Expertise with Azure Management Groups, Key Vault, Storage, Networking (vWANs, vNets, NSGs), Subscriptions, and Policy.
โ€ข Experience managing Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) environments including host pools and FSLogix.
โ€ข Strong knowledge of Azure Logging, Monitoring, and Security practices.
โ€ข Proficiency scripting in PowerShell to automate Azure administration tasks.
โ€ข Strong problem-solving skills and ability to diagnose and resolve issues across Azure environments.
โ€ข Excellent communication and documentation skills.
Preferred:
โ€ข Microsoft Azure Administrator, Architect, or Security certifications.
โ€ข Experience with Power Platform integration in Azure environments.
โ€ข Familiarity with AOAI embedded features and Copilot capabilities.
โ€ข Knowledge of workload/application migrations and hybrid cloud strategies.
โ€ข Understanding of Microsoft licensing models and subscription management.
