Registered Nurse (RN) - GI Lab

Work location: Texas Health Plano, 6200 West Parker Road, Plano, TX 75093

Work hours: PRN-As Needed; Variable Day Shifts; Weekend and holiday requirements

*PRN RN II shift requirement - 3 shifts per six-week schedule, 1 weekend shift per six-week schedule

Endo/GI Lab Department Highlights:

       Robust Unit Based Council (UBC) and engaged leadership team

       Fast-Paced, high-volume department

       Promotes within

       Education and growth opportunities for all interested

       High Retention/Low turnover in this department

Here's What You Need:

       Nursing Diploma required or

       Associate's Degree of Nursing required

       Bachelor's degree of Nursing preferred

       Other - CLIAFE Must comply with CLIA regulations regarding foreign education equivalency required

       1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse required

       6-month direct Endo/GI Lab experience as an RN strongly preferred

       RN - Registered Nurse upon hire required and

       BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly required and

       ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support within 90 days required and

       PALS - Pediatric Life Support within 90 days required

       A high degree of confidentiality, positive interpersonal skills, and ability to function in a fast-paced environment
