Baptist Health System is seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Neurohospitalist to join its established Neurohospitalist program at St. Luke's Baptist Hospital, the Comprehensive Stroke Program Hub for South Texas. This is an inpatient-focused role within a thriving program built in 2015, emphasizing acute stroke care. The successful candidate will join a highly skilled team within a network serving over 17 communities and 250+ providers.

Practice Info

  • 100% inpatient Neurohospitalist role at St. Luke's Baptist Hospital, the Comprehensive Stroke Program Hub
  • Network includes 2 Primary Plus and 3 Primary Stroke facilities under the St. Luke's hub
  • EMR: Athena (clinic) and Cerner (hospital)

Responsibilities

  • Shared Telestroke call coverage
  • EEG reading/interpretation, including continuous EEG
  • Primary focus on acute stroke management
