Job Summary:

Project manager to lead internal company process improvements, governance of strategy, implementation of cross-functional goals for the overall company operationsefficiencyand optimization. In this role, you will oversee, develop, coordinate, integrate,analyze,synthesize,and maintain integrated plans and schedules for highly complexstrategy-relatedprojects,initiativesand change driven activities(ex. Big Rocks)to execute in accordance with project managementMillennium Space Systemsstandards. Directs and provides high level studies/analysis (trend, variance, impact),determinesscope, reports, and oversight of planning requests.Identifiesrisk and opportunity potential, develops mitigationplanningand refines the business case. Develops and executes the process and strategy for the integration of plans and schedules. Recognized as primary project contact toestablishkey stakeholder requirements and projectobjectives. Authorizes commitment of resources by obtaining approvals from stakeholders. Oversees deployment of approved recommendationsfor Millennium Space Systems.

This position's internal job is Project Management Specialist. Our team is currently hiring for a Level 4-5.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Organize,plan, and lead the execution of strategy related projects by managing cross-functional teams to realize improvements in company operations

  • Decompose and synthesis broad strategic concepts, ideas, and company goals into specific actionable step-by-step plans tailored to specificoperations and business functions across the company

  • Create, collect, report, andtrend metrics for operational efficiency of strategy implementation for specific functions

  • Be the primary strategy feedback collector to inform strategy tailoring, updates, andevolution to better connect strategy toeach individual'sdaily work


Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 1 year of project management experience as the leader, or equivalent roledemonstratingability to achieve desired outcomes on projects, on-time and within budget. Ability to define the project, design and plan the project, and manage the project team. Ability to control and deliver project deliverables, project accounting, andoptimizethe contribution of the people involved

  • 1 year of project execution as the individual contributor or project lead

  • This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship. A final U.S. clearance Post Start is required


Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 1-2 years of project management experience as the leader, or equivalent roledemonstratingability to achieve desired outcomes on projects, on-time and within budget. Ability to define the project, design and plan the project, and manage the project team. Ability to control and deliver project deliverables, project accounting, andoptimizethe contribution of the people involved

  • 2-3 years of project execution as the individual contributor or project lead

  • Critical thinking by processinginformation by evaluating statements or propositions for their validity, using inductive and deductive reasoning.

  • Strategicdecisionmakingby obtaininginformation andidentifyingkey issues and relationships relevant to achieving a long-range goal

  • Globalperspectiveby developingand incorporatingan understanding of the competitivesmall satellitebusiness environment as well as an awareness of economic, social, and political trends thatimpactthe organization's strategy

  • Knowledge ofMillennium Space System's organizations, processes, program plans, policies and procedures, and productsrequiredto effectively performstrategy governance over cross-functional responsibilities.

Summary pay range:

Level 4: $126,650 - $186,250

Level 5: $156,400 - $230,000

Millennium is DDTC-registered, ITAR-compliant Company. This position is located at a facility that requires special access. Applicants MUST be U.S. citizens and eligible for a security clearance.
