Founded in 2021 with operations in Fort Lauderdale, Florida and Van Nuys and Camarillo, California, FlyHouse is revolutionizing private aviation through our innovative business model, patent-pending mobile application platform, and commitment to safety, service, and transparency.
Position Summary
The Customer Project Manager serves as the primary liaison between customers and the maintenance organization throughout the aircraft maintenance lifecycle. This role is responsible for managing customer relationships, coordinating maintenance projects, developing quotes and change orders, communicating project status, and ensuring a seamless customer experience from aircraft induction through delivery. The Customer Project Manager works closely with Maintenance, Quality, Parts, Scheduling, and Finance teams to support operational efficiency, customer satisfaction, and revenue objectives.
Essential Job Functions
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned customers throughout scheduled and unscheduled maintenance events.
    • Build and maintain strong customer relationships through proactive communication and exceptional service.
    • Manage customer communications regarding project status, maintenance findings, schedule impacts, approvals, costs, and aircraft delivery timelines.
    • Coordinate maintenance projects from aircraft induction through completion in partnership with Maintenance leadership and production teams.
    • Prepare and manage customer quotes, estimates, change orders, and pricing proposals for maintenance services and additional findings.
    • Collaborate with Maintenance, Quality, Parts, and Finance teams to validate labor estimates, scope of work, pricing, and operational feasibility.
    • Obtain customer approvals and ensure alignment regarding scope, pricing, timelines, and project expectations.
    • Provide timely communication regarding maintenance findings, schedule adjustments, and cost impacts throughout the project lifecycle.
    • Support on-time aircraft delivery objectives by proactively identifying risks, escalating obstacles, and coordinating recovery plans when necessary.
    • Review work orders, maintenance documentation, and invoice packages for accuracy prior to customer billing.
    • Coordinate with Finance to support invoicing, payment collection efforts, and customer account resolution.
    • Maintain accurate records of customer communications, approvals, project milestones, and maintenance documentation.
    • Facilitate communication and collaboration between Maintenance, Quality, Scheduling, Parts, and Finance departments.
    • Represent the Company professionally during customer meetings, facility visits, conference calls, and operational discussions.
    • Identify opportunities to improve customer experience, operational efficiency, and organizational scalability.
    • Provide feedback to leadership regarding customer concerns, workflow bottlenecks, and process improvement opportunities.
    • Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Education & Experience
    • Degree in Business, Aviation Management, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
    • Minimum three (3) years of experience in aviation customer service, project coordination, maintenance support, or a related role.
    • Experience quoting scheduled maintenance projects required.
    • Previous experience preparing quotes, estimates, or financial reviews within an aviation or technical service environment strongly preferred.
    • Strong understanding of aircraft maintenance operations, maintenance planning, and customer support processes preferred.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a strong customer-service mindset.
    • Strong organizational, project management, and time-management skills.
    • High attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy and quality.
    • Ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and aviation maintenance software systems such as Corridor, CAMP, or similar platforms.
    • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to proactively resolve customer and operational issues.
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively across multiple departments.
    • Demonstrated professionalism, discretion, and commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
  • Other Qualificaitons & Requirements
    • Full-time, on-site presence at the Van Nuy facility is required.
    • May require occasional travel between Company facilities (Camarillo) and customer locations as business needs dictate.

Compensation
Salary Range: $80-$90K
Sun Air Jets benefits package includes competitive pay, per diem, 401K with an employer match, health insurance (medical, dental, vision) mostly paid by the company, and paid time off (vacation and sick time).
