Job Description

Are you passionate about the intersection of payments and blockchains? Are you excited about the challenge of leading partnerships with the most strategic crypto and stablecoin players?
As a strategic partnership lead in Visa's Crypto organization, you will be responsible for managing and growing relationships with leading crypto-native wallets, exchanges, ramps, orchestrators and enablers globally. You will act as the primary point of contact for these accounts, driving commercial success, solutioning, and partnership expansion. This role sits at the intersection of payments, blockchain innovation, and go-to-market execution, requiring both strategic vision and hands-on client management. You help lead Visa as the bridge between new digital currency wallets and 150+ million merchants, financial institutions, and other key partners to successfully expand our business into this high growth vertical.

Key Responsibilities

Account Ownership & Relationship Management:

  • Serve as the global relationship lead for a portfolio of high-impact crypto-native accounts.
  • Build and nurture multi-level relationships with client executives and internal stakeholders (product, engineering, risk, legal, and regional teams).
  • Act as a trusted advisor, providing market insights, thought leadership, and guidance on the evolving payments and digital asset landscape.

Commercial Leadership & Solutioning:

  • Lead end-to-end deal cycles: identify opportunities, structure and negotiate commercial agreements, and oversee execution.
  • Deliver tailored solutions for clients, collaborating with product and technical teams to integrate Visa's crypto offerings.
  • Drive revenue growth and adoption of Visa's products and solutions, tracking and reporting on key metrics.

Strategic Collaboration & Ecosystem Engagement:

  • As the global lead, coordinate closely with regional teams to ensure seamless execution and alignment on priorities.
  • Collaborate closely with Visa crypto product, technical and engineering teams to execute on client priorities.
  • Represent Visa at industry events, client meetings, and in the broader crypto ecosystem as a subject matter expert.

Market & Product Strategy:

  • Stay ahead of market trends, regulatory developments, and competitive dynamics in the crypto and payments space.
  • Provide feedback to product and leadership teams, influencing roadmap and go-to-market strategies.
  • Co-create and pilot new use cases with clients, leveraging Visa's capabilities to unlock mutual growth.

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications 8 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or at least 5 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 2 years of work experience with a PhDPreferred Qualifications 9 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or 7 or more relevant years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 3 or more years of experience with a PhD Current or former experience in payments or crypto industry are strongly preferred 6+ years' work experience in investment, strategy, GTM, product, BD or sales in the financial sector with a Bachelor's Degree, or a 4+ years' work experience with Master's Degree Proven track record in account management, business development, or sales, ideally with complex, multi-stakeholder deals Deep understanding of blockchain, stablecoins, and the broader digital asset ecosystem Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management abilities Entrepreneurial mindset, comfortable navigating ambiguity and driving initiatives from concept to execution Demonstrate excellent written and verbal ability to communicate with key stakeholders and present to senior leadership team Sales experience including running a deal cycle end-to-end and negotiating is strongly preferred Ability to successfully build strong partnerships with cross-functional teams in a matrixed organization

The estimated salary range for this positionis $153,700.00 to $ 246,200.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.Visa has a comprehensive benefits package for which this position may be eligible that includes Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k), FSA/HSA, Life Insurance, Paid Time Off, and Wellness Program.
