Our clients include leading private equity firms, corporate development teams, M&A professionals, and strategy leaders at some of the world's most respected organizations. Leveraging best-in-class research methodologies, proprietary primary research, and deep analytical rigor, we help clients develop and pressure-test investment theses, evaluate acquisition opportunities, and design effective value creation strategies that drive measurable results.
About this role:
Matters Graph is looking for aspiring consulting professionals who value a collaborative, high-trust, and intellectually rigorous environment. Matters Graph prioritizes early responsibility, direct exposure to senior leadership, and a clear line of sight to the impact of your work and career progression.
Associates will play a critical role in delivering client engagements by supporting key workstreams, and helping shape client recommendations, and work across a broad range of industries. (Sector Coverage)
At Matters Graph, your success is our success. We are committed to providing the resources, support, and opportunities you need to grow professionally while playing a meaningful role in delivering outstanding outcomes for our clients and shaping the future of our firm.
At Matters Graph, you will:
  • Serve as a core member of our case teams, delivering outstanding evidence-based advice to our clients
  • Develop research strategies, identify research sources and conduct primary research to investigate markets, customers, channels and competitors
  • Perform rigorous quantitative and qualitative analysis
  • Develop written presentations in both PowerPoint and Word formats
  • Work with senior team members to transform research and analysis into creative conclusions and value development strategies
  • Attend client meetings, present findings, and act as a "subject matter expert" on key analysis topics
  • Contribute to our positive team culture and drive internal entrepreneurial programs
  • Commit to continuous personal development by proactively seeking mentoring and training opportunities

What We're Looking For:
  • A track record of academic excellence, including a bachelor's degree from a leading institution
  • A deep passion for business and outstanding intellectual curiosity
  • Strong qualitative and quantitative analysis skills
  • Great team working abilities, with a positive and collaborative mind-set
  • Entrepreneurial spirit
  • A desire to build a long-term career as a professional consultant
  • Fluency in English with strong verbal and written communication skills, with additional languages also beneficial
  • Authorization to work in the USA

What we offer:
Associates earn a competitive base salary and are eligible for performance-based discretionary bonuses tied to both individual and firm performance. The base salary for this position is $90,000 per year.
Benefits Include
  • Employer-sponsored healthcare, dental, and vision coverage
  • Generous paid time off and company holidays, including your birthday
  • 401(k) retirement plan with employer contributions
  • Training, mentorship, and professional development opportunities
  • Exposure to senior executives, private equity investors, and corporate leaders

At Matters Graph, you'll gain meaningful responsibility, direct exposure to leadership, and the opportunity to make a tangible impact on both our clients and our firm's growth.
