Job description

About Broccoli AI
At Broccoli, we're building AI teammates for the people who build and maintain our world.
We partner with plumbing, HVAC, and electrical contractors, the hardworking businesses that keep homes and communities running, and replace fragmented software and repetitive manual work with AI that actually gets the job done.
Our AI teammates answer phones, book appointments, follow up with customers, recover missed revenue, and help contractors deliver exceptional customer experiences, all while integrating seamlessly with platforms like ServiceTitan.
Before we wrote a single line of code, we visited more than 140 contractors to understand how these businesses truly operate. That firsthand experience shaped everything we've built.
Today:
  • Hundreds of contractors rely on Broccoli every day.
  • We've grown to $15M+ ARR in under two years.
  • We're trusted by everyone from independent contractors to some of the largest private equity backed operators in the home services industry.
  • We're backed by Khosla Ventures and Y Combinator.

We're still just getting started.
The Role
As a Strategy & Operations Manager, you'll work directly on the most important analytical problems facing the business. Broccoli is growing fast, and the number of questions that matter is growing faster: which customers are healthiest and why, where we're leaving revenue on the table, what's actually driving performance across hundreds of contractors.
This is the role for a consultant who always ended up owning the model, the analysis, and the data work on every engagement. You'll take ambiguous, high-priority questions, structure them, get into the data yourself, and drive them to an answer someone acts on.
You'll work across two of our core Strategy & Operations pillars:
Business Operations
Objective: Build the operating system that helps Broccoli scale efficiently.
  • Own strategic deep dives end to end - frame the question, build the analysis, deliver a clear recommendation to leadership.
  • Support business performance management: KPIs, reporting, and operational reviews.
  • Drive cross-functional projects with sales, customer success, and product - from sizing opportunities to changing how we operate based on what the data says.

Intelligence Platform
Objective: Provide customers with the data, insights, and benchmarks needed to drive outcomes.
  • Build the analyses behind QBRs and executive reviews for our largest customers, turning Broccoli and ServiceTitan data into narratives that change how they run their businesses.
  • Deliver insights and benchmarks that help customers improve performance.
  • Turn one-off analyses into repeatable tools - working with our analytics and engineering teams so the best insights become dashboards, templates, and product.
What We're Looking For
  • 3-6 years of experience at a top consulting firm (e.g., McKinsey, Bain, BCG, Deloitte, Accenture, or comparable) with hands-on experience working with data.
  • Passion for exploring and applying the latest AI tools and technologies to solve real business problems.
  • High-ownership mindset with a bias toward action and execution.
  • Strong analytical skills and a structured approach to problem solving.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excited to work in-person five days per week with the team in San Francisco.
Bonus
  • Experience at a high-growth startup.
  • Experience working in home services or B2B SaaS.

Broccoli is an equal-opportunity employer and complies with all applicable federal, state, and local fair employment practice laws.
