Job description

Our mid-market Private Equity firm, with ~$5B AUM, is expanding its team and searching for a skilled Fund Controller to join us. The position will play a vital role in supporting our growth in AUM and newly launched funds. As a result of multiple successful exits over the past two years, we have created a new role that will report to the CFO. The Fund Controller will take responsibility for the PE Fund Accounting vertical and team, ensuring the day-to-day management of accounting operations, including waterfall calculations and capital calls for multiple funds and investment vehicles. In this role, we prioritize improving the efficiency of reporting and systems, while maintaining a strong focus on investor relations and investor-focused reporting. You will lead a team of 2-3 people. Our ideal candidate should possess a BA/BS in Accounting/Finance, with 5+ years of accounting/auditing experience in the asset management industry, and preferably hold a CPA. You should have knowledge of partnership accounting, financial reporting, auditing, and tax. You should be a demonstrated team player, self-starter, and independent thinker with the ability to exercise excellent judgment. You should be able to work in a fast-paced environment, balance multiple concurrent tasks, and manage deadlines effectively. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are necessary, and familiarity with the Investran system is preferred, but not required. We offer competitive compensation and benefits packages, along with a great opportunity for a talented individual seeking a fast-paced and challenging work environment. #J-18808-Ljbffr
