Job description

About the team Turo is entering an exciting new chapter of growth in the US, and we are looking for a Marketplace Strategy & Operations Manager - Pricing, to help drive optimal pricing for the marketplace. This role combines strategic thinking, analytical and technical capability, with strong program execution. You will serve as a centralized operator who converts data into action, running end-to-end initiatives and providing the diagnostics needed to drive performance across our US business.

Pricing Diagnostics & Analytics

Drive pricing reviews to understand performance against Turo’s growth and profitability goals and where we need to take action

Insight Generation & Recommendation

Lead research on pricing opportunities to drive innovation on how Turo can leverage pricing to drive profitable growth. This will require the ability to dig into data, frame problems, and build clear recommendations for cross-functional stakeholders and leadership.

Program Execution

Run discrete initiatives end-to-end, moving from analysis to planning, execution, and measurement. You will coordinate with cross-functional partners to ensure follow-through and impact on key business priorities, and ensure all pricing changes are brought to market effectively, both internally and externally.

Your profile
  • 5 - 7+ years of relevant experience (or 3 years + Master’s degree) in strategy, operations, analytics, or a related field.
  • Experience working on pricing within a complex, two-sided marketplace or tech-enabled gig economy platform strongly preferred.
  • Strong Analytical Toolkit: Advanced fluency in Google Sheets/Excel and SQL required.
  • Structured Thinking: Ability to break down ambiguous problems into actionable plans and guide others to clarity.
  • Execution Oriented: Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional projects independently, from problem identification through to execution.
  • Communication: Skilled in building structured narratives and presentations; able to translate complex data into clear recommendations for leadership.
  • Commercial Acumen: Understanding of how strategic decisions influence the P&L, growth levers, and operational efficiency.
  • Collaboration: Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships across functions and influence stakeholders without direct authority.
  • Demonstrates Turo’s values through work product and within day to day team interactions.

For this role, the target base salary range in San Francisco is $136,000 - $170,000 annually. This role is also eligible for equity and benefits. In general, our ranges reflect the market-based target for new hire salaries based on the level and location of the role. Within the range, individual pay is determined by objective factors assessed during the application and interview process, such as job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

Turo highly values having employees working in-office to foster a collaborative work environment and company culture. This role will be in-office on a hybrid schedule — Turists will be expected to work in the office 3 days per week on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.
