Job description

Role Summary/Purpose:

A dynamic role on Synchrony's Accelerated Consumer Engagement (ACE) program to oversee day-to-day execution of key areas and deliver business growth. Reporting to VP, Strategic Initiatives Leader, this role will wear multiple hats, work at a rapid pace, and be results-oriented, including accountability for delivery of select workstreams; developing content, hosting and facilitating ACE program meeting cadences; collect, analyze and update KPIs and financials across ACE experiences; have oversight across program risks and dependencies, manage escalations and follow throughs.

Additionally, the role will take on special projects as required to achieve the growth goals of the ACE program.

Essential Responsibilities:

Program Management

  • Collaborate with cross-functional set of stakeholders (Marketing, Product, Analytics, Business Development, Brand, and Technology) to drive progress through influence and clarity.

  • Support key program operating rhythms, including program lifecycle meetings, Steering Committees, and Commercial Council and ensure disciplined execution across teams.

  • Manage program Objectives & Key Results (OKRs), milestones, and delivery tracking for customer engagements, ensuring scope, timeline, and outcomes remain aligned.

  • Proactively identify risks, issues, and dependencies; apply structured problem-solving, and use appropriate escalation paths to maintain momentum.

Commercialization Strategy & Change Management

  • Extensive collaboration with cross-functional set of stakeholders from- facilitating strategic planning sessions and workshops with leaders across Product, Marketing, and Business Development to shape strategic narratives tailored to client segments.

  • Structure use cases and quantify value to partners by synthesizing cross-functional inputs; build scalable commercialization assets (case studies, decks, one-pagers, FAQs, toolkits/portals).

  • Turn KPIs and performance insights into executive-ready narratives (proof points, results updates, value stories) for leadership, internal forums, and partner/client conversations.

  • Own thought leadership and storytelling end-to-end-developing high-impact content for senior leader updates and forums, and coordinating internal creative teams/external agencies to deliver consistent, differentiated formats (e.g., video, animation, interactive experiences).

  • Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned.

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree and 6+ years' managing large business strategy or technology-oriented programs in a matrixed organizational environment; or in lieu of a Bachelor Degree, a High School Diploma / GED and 9+ years' managing large business strategy or technology-oriented programs in a matrixed organizational environment

  • 5+ years of project management acting as a liaison between product, technology, marketing and other cross functional stakeholders to drive growth through marketing and digital engagement

  • Experience engaging with senior leaders and managing stakeholder expectations to build alignment

  • 3+ years of exprience working with agile teams or similar project methodology

  • Expert level in content development including PowerPoint and other visual tools such as: Figma, Visio for business audiences ranging from executive and senior leadership to technical audiences e.g. solutions architects and engineers, along with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel

  • Strong communications skills including ability to influence cross-functional teams

  • Ability and flexibility to travel for business as required

Desired Characteristics:

  • Previous product marketing and or management consulting industry experience preferred

  • Experience launching new products and capabilities and an understanding of go-to-market strategies, messaging and positioning, and sales enablement

  • Consumer finance and/or retail marketing experience preferred

Grade/Level: 12

The salary range for this position is 110,000.00 - 185,000.00 USD Annual and is eligible for an annual bonus based on individual and company performance.

Actual compensation offered within the posted salary range will be based upon work experience, skill level or knowledge.

Salaries are adjusted according to market in CA, NY Metro and Seattle.

Eligibility Requirements:

  • You must be 18 years or older

  • You must have a high school diploma or equivalent

  • You must be willing to take a drug test, submit to a background investigation and submit fingerprints as part of the onboarding process

  • You must be able to satisfy the requirements of Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act.

  • New hires (Level 4-7) must have 9 months of continuous service with the company before they are eligible to post on other roles. Once this new hire time in position requirement is met, the associate will have a minimum 6 months' time in position before they can post for future non-exempt roles. Employees, level 8 or greater, must have at least 18 months' time in position before they can post. All internal employees must consistently meet performance expectations and have approval from your manager to post (or the approval of your manager and HR if you don't meet the time in position or performance expectations).
