The Role

Assist the Corporate Partnerships team with hands-on support across partner engagement and strategic initiatives. Responsibilities include conducting research, developing partnership ideas and materials, contributing to stakeholder collaboration, and supporting day-to-day operations, providing a meaningful opportunity to gain real-world experience in building impactful corporate partnerships within a well-respected global nonprofit organization.  

Location

Hybrid – Washington DC, Fairfield, CT or Lexington, KY office locations

 

What You’ll Be Doing (Essential Duties)

*not inclusive of all role responsibilities. May be subject to change
  • Map priority corporate partners to Save the Children’s programs and offerings to identify high-potential areas of alignment
  • Develop concise partnership opportunity briefs, translating company priorities into tailored engagement concepts
  • Produce a synthesis of top opportunities and recommendations to support corporate engagement strategy attend partner meetings as relevant
  • Stewardship and support for current Save the Children partners and prospects.
  • General administrative and other office tasks as assigned such as data entry and organization, meeting preparation, creation of documents, etc. 

        Required qualifications for the role

        • Must be actively enrolled in an Associates, Bachelors, or Master’s degree program, or have graduated within 6 months of the start date
        • Strong writing, research and organizational skills
        • Self-starter with the ability to work independently
        • Currently eligible to work in the U.S
        • Demonstrated ability to communicate professionally and collaborate effectively with individuals and teams.
        • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple competing priorities.
        • Professional proficiency in MS Office suite
        • Professional proficiency in spoken and written English

              Classification: Intern / Fellow

              Compensation: $17.00-$17.95 / hour (depending on location)

              Hours: maximum 24 hours per week (35 for fellows)
