ABOUT THE ROLE
Are you the person who loves collaborating and bringing order to chaos? Strategizing goals and seeing projects from start to finish may seem like a drag to most, but to you, it is nirvana. You are knowledgeable about spearheading major initiatives, developing timelines, and putting plans into action. You love working on multiple projects with cross-functional departments, holding leadership accountable, thriving in an autonomous environment, and coaching other project managers to do the same.
If that sounds like you, GLORIOUS! You might be the Strategic Initiatives Project Manager for the Office of the CEO (OOTC for short!) we are looking for! An ultimate control freak (in a good way) who loves managing strategic projects that support employee success and cultivate a unique culture, while also establishing rock-solid processes and policies.
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Be the force multiplier for the CEO, promoting accountability across leadership by translating high-level executive "vision" into structured project plans with clear ownership
  • Build and maintain company-wide OKRs and BOPs, maintaining a centralized dashboard to ensure all sprints hit committed due dates with total transparency
  • Design and improve cross-functional workflow to streamline communication and alignment between all herds
  • Ensure strategic initiatives and company priorities are progressing against agreed-upon timelines and commitments
  • Facilitate high-energy working sessions for the OOTC, PMs, and on key brand projects that drive decision-making and transform whiteboard dreams into actionable milestones
  • Create and present executive briefs to succinctly communicate high-stakes information to department leadership
  • Champion company-wide efficiency by ruthlessly reducing meeting fatigue and ensuring every session begins with strategic alignment
  • Drive OOTC brand initiatives from inception to launch, defining long-term ownership and clean departmental hand-off strategies.
  • Support the execution of strategic initiatives to scale the brand to be one of the largest and most accessible eyewear brands in the world
  • Apply a customer-obsessed mindset to design brand touchpoints that anticipate needs customers didn't know they had until they can't live without them
  • Build systems that transform bold, creative ideas into consistent results and repeatable motion
  • This role is in the Office of the CEO and will report directly to the Chief of Staff
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

ABOUT THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
  • May or may not have a degree...we don't care (bonus points for Basset Hound Science or Dinosaur Law)
  • 7+ years of experience in project management with a proven track record of coaching and leading other project managers
  • Experience leading complex cross-functional initiatives, organizational change, business operations, project management, or strategic programs.
  • PMP, Lean, Six Sigma, Agile, or other project/program management certifications required
  • Energized by complexity and built to spearhead department & cross-functional initiatives
  • Experience in Asana, Monday.com, Trello, or Basecamp is a MUST (Major bonus for Asana mastery!)
  • Knowledge of Figma is a BIG plus!
  • Ability to build complex, automated systems that people actually enjoy using
  • Proven ability to think strategically, maintain focus on long-term goals and objectives, and build solid communication plans that drive stakeholder alignment at all levels
  • Comfortable leading the charge for major change management initiatives
  • Has a knack for ruthless prioritization and distinguishing "urgent fires" from "strategic gold"
  • Strong communicator who lives into collaboration and holding people accountable
  • Driven by personal growth and thrives in an environment of constant feedback
  • Is proactive and an independent problem solver! (Can you Google a question?)

WHAT YOU GET
  • A role at a company that is going to the moon
  • The opportunity to show up every day and have fun
  • The ability to learn and grow as a person
  • Paid vacation (we encourage you to take time off!)
  • Paycheck... obviously. Salary range: $140K - $160K, final offer will be made within this range based on experience
  • Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits
  • 401(K) with company matching
  • Financial Wellness Counseling
  • Sunglasses. Obviously.
