Detailed Job Description:
We are seeking a highly technical, strategic, and domain-expert Lead / Staff Software Engineer to spearhead the engineering, integration, and automation of our core enterprise merchandising platforms. In this role, you will take full ownership of our master data and core merchandising ecosystem, Stibo STEP PIM (Product Information Management), Oracle Retail Suite (RMS / RMFCS) and Inventory Planning and Forecasting. Oracle Retail Merchandising System (RMS) and Product Information Management (PIM) role bridges merchandising and data governance. You will design, configure, and maintain integrated platforms to manage enterprise product lifecycles, ensuring seamless data flow across supply chain, inventory, and point-of-sale systems. This is a strictly hands-on role. You will write code, build integrations, configure platforms, and actively architect the system. Beyond traditional software engineering, this position requires demonstrated experience in Agentic AI development. You will leverage various Large Language Models (LLMs) and autonomous AI frameworks to build intelligent agents that automate code development, data enrichment, flag inventory anomalies, and streamline global supply chain workflows.
 
Key Responsibilities
⦁ System Implementation & Integration: Design and implement Oracle Retail Merchandising Cloud Services (ORMCS) alongside enterprise PIM platforms (like Stibo Systems STEP). Actively write code, configure, and architect Stibo STEP (Item, Location, Vendor Portal) alongside Oracle Retail Merchandising Systems (RMS/RMFCS). Define enterprise-wide data models and product taxonomy. Engineer custom Stibo JavaScript business rules, state transitions, and approval workflows.
⦁ Data Governance & Modeling: Establish a single source of truth by aggregating, standardizing, and synchronizing product data (attributes, hierarchies, taxonomy).
⦁ Workflow Automation: Configure automated business rules and change-management workflows to review, approve, and enrich item data before it hits customer touchpoints.
⦁ Data Synchronization: Map and build data integration pipelines between RMS, PIM, ERP, and e-commerce systems to enable omnichannel journeys.
⦁ Lifecycle Management: Manage the end-to-end product lifecycle from vendor onboarding and purchase orders to pricing, inventory allocation, and fulfillment.
⦁ Agentic AI Development: Use production-grade Agentic AI frameworks to automate complex retail tasks.
