Project Executive โ€“ Healthcare Construction

Location: Charlotte, NC (Onsite + Travel)

Employment Type: Direct Hire

Compensation: $140,000 โ€“ $185,000 annually + discretionary bonus + monthly allowances


Position Overview

Wheeler Staffing Partners is seeking a Project Executive โ€“ Healthcare Construction to lead large-scale ($20M+) hospital construction projects across North and South Carolina. This role is responsible for project execution, financial performance, client satisfaction, and leadership of multiple project teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage multiple healthcare construction projects and project teams
  • Oversee project financials, forecasting, and reporting
  • Manage contracts, subcontractors, and change orders
  • Ensure project schedules, quality, and safety standards are met
  • Identify and mitigate risks across projects
  • Serve as primary client contact and maintain strong relationships
  • Mentor and develop Project Managers and Superintendents

Qualifications

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Construction Management or related field
  • 8+ years of experience managing $20M+ healthcare construction projects
  • Experience with design-build delivery, pull planning, and Last Planner System
  • Strong leadership, financial, and client-facing experience
  • Proficiency in project management and scheduling software

Work Environment & Travel

  • 100% onsite with frequent travel to project sites
  • Ability to work in office and active construction environments
