Job Description Formatted Job Posting LeverageTek is actively seeking a Bilingual Program Manager Healthcare Education for a 1 year contract with an Ottawa based client. Work Location Hybrd Ottawa - 3x week Key Tasks Lead end-to-end project management of the UGME Curriculum Renewal initiative Manage four parallel, interconnected workstreams: Governance, Curricular Structure, Engagement, and Logistics Coordinate and support the concurrent accreditation process, ensuring alignment between curriculum renewal milestones and CACMS/LCME standards Engage and align diverse stakeholder groups including physician faculty, department heads, hospital partners, administrative staff, and senior leadership Facilitate working groups and committees across parallel physician and administrative reporting structures Co-create all curriculum materials, communications, and project outputs in both French and English from the outset Develop and maintain project plans, risk registers, milestone tracking, and resource plans Work with the IT team to leverage existing technology builds and navigate IT processes Produce reports, presentations, and communications for internal and external audiences, including the accrediting body Key Qualifications Minimum 5-7 years of progressive project or program management experience in academic medicine, health sciences education, or a university setting Demonstrated experience managing large-scale, multi-year transformational projects with multiple interdependent workstreams Demonstrated recent experience in a Program Management / Project Lead role leading new curriculum development in health sciences and experience with Accreditation of health sciences curriculum and educational programs Qualifications Full professional proficiency in French and English (written and oral) - mandatory Master's degree in a relevant field (Health Professions Education, Education, Project/Program Management, Health Sciences, or related) PMP certification Experience working within or alongside academic governance structures (committees, faculty councils, curriculum committees) Familiarity with undergraduate medical education (UGME) or health professions curriculum Understanding of physician culture and experience engaging physicians as independent contractors Experience with programmatic assessment models or curriculum redesign initiatives Proficiency with project management tools and methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid) Strong change management experience in a complex organizational environment Familiarity with CACMS/LCME accreditation standards is a significant asset Compensation Hourly Rate Negotiable This is an existing position vacancy.
